Narendra Modi Gujarat Visit Schedule 2022 : Inauguration of 36th National Games at Modi Stadium, Preparations in full swing for PM Modi’s 36th National Games inauguration ceremony, roads will be closed for two days from tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 36th National Games tomorrow Thursday evening at the Modi Stadium at Motera. Almost all preparations have been completed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and the state government regarding the Prime Minister’s programme. More than one lakh people from various cities of the state are expected to attend the inaugural ceremony of the National Games tomorrow. Parking arrangement has been arranged in more than 25 plots for the buses coming from the outskirts for the inauguration ceremony to be held in the evening. Four gates have been constructed to enter the stadium. VVIPs will get entry from Gate No. 3-4 while public will be admitted from Gate No. 1-2 through the main entrance of the stadium

Boards with the names of various heritage monuments have been installed in
Narendra Modi Stadium near gate number 3 and four i.e. Asaram Ashram Road, banners with the names of various places of Ahmedabad city have been installed. Railings have been installed on both sides of the road from Motera Krupa Residency to Narendra Modi Stadium.

Some roads closed during
two-day program Some roads have been closed during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day program on September 29 and 30. And alternative routes have been announced for which a notification has been issued by the Commissioner of Police. Motera Stadium Main Gate to Janpath, Kripa Residency to Motera T Point (from 12 noon till completion of program) Alternate Route Tapovan Circle to Wisat T Point, ONGC Char Road to Janpath T Point, Power House to Prabodh Rawal Circle This route will remain closed. Route from Andhajan Mandal Char Rasta to Helmet Char Rasta (from 5 pm till the program is over) Alternate route Andhajan Mandal Char Rasta, Panjarapol, Vijay Char Rasta can be reached towards AEC.

– This route will be closed – the route from Surdhara Circle to Saibaba Char Road to NFD Circle will be closed.
– Alternative route- Surdhara Circle, Satadhar Char Rasta, Bhuyangdev Char Rasta, Helmet Char Rasta, Andhajan Mandal, Vastrapur Lake, Mansi Char Rasta can be reached towards Pakwan Char Rasta.
– This route will be closed- The road from Thalatej to Saibaba four road to Himalaya Mall T Point will be closed.
– Alternate route- Hebatpur Char Rasta, Satadhar, Bhuyangdev, Memnagar, Manav Mandir, Helmet Char Rasta can be reached from.
– This route will be closed – Gurdwara Char Rasta, NFD Circle, Sanjeevni Hospital will be closed.
– Alternate Route- Pakwan Char Rasta, Mansi Circle, Vastrapur Lake, Andhajan Mandal can be moved towards.

Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and dedicate various projects worth more than Rs. 3400 crore. These include works for water supply, drainage projects, DREAM City, Biodiversity Park and other development works such as public infrastructure, heritage restoration, city bus / BRTS infrastructure, electric vehicle infrastructure as well as joint development works by the central and state government.

Prime Minister will inaugurate Phase-I of road infrastructure works and the main entrance of Diamond Research and Mercantile (DREAM) City. Prime Minister will also inaugurate Khoj Museum at Science Centre in Surat. Built for children, the Museum will have interactive displays, inquiry-based activities and inquisitiveness-based explorations.

Prime Minister in Bhavnagar

Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 5200 crore in Bhavnagar. Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the World’s First CNG Terminal and of brownfield port at Bhavnagar. The port will be developed at a cost of over Rs. 4000 crore and will have state of the art infrastructure for the world’s first CNG Terminal along with world’s fourth largest lock gate system. In addition to the CNG Terminal, the port will also cater to the future needs and demands of various upcoming projects in the region. The port will have ultra-modern Container Terminal, Multipurpose Terminal, and Liquid Terminal with direct door-step connectivity to the existing roadway and railway network. It will not only lead to economic benefits  in terms of cost saving in handling cargo, but also generate employment for people in the region. Also, the CNG Import Terminal will provide an additional alternate source of energy to meet the growing demands of clean energy.

Prime Minister in Ambaji

Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and dedicate various development projects to the nation worth over Rs. 7200 crore in Ambaji. Prime Minster will dedicate and lay foundation stone of over 45,000 houses built under PM Awas Yojana. Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Taranga Hill – Ambaji – Abu Road New Broad Gauge Line and development of pilgrimage facilities at Ambaji temple under PRASAD scheme. The new rail line will benefit lakhs of devotees visiting Ambaji, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and will enrich the worship experience of the devotees at all these pilgrimage places. Other projects whose foundation stone will be laid includes construction of the runway and associated infrastructure at Airforce station, Deesa; Ambaji Bypass Road among others.
